Arizona Cardinals rookie running back Jeremiyah Love is likely to sit out the rest of the preseason with an ankle injury, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter, after he was hurt in Thursday's game against the Las Vegas Raiders.
How did he look before getting hurt?
Love played 23 snaps against the Raiders, rushing 11 times for 58 yards and adding three catches for 14 yards before the injury.
How serious is the injury?
Multiple outlets reported it as a high ankle sprain, though coach Mike LaFleur declined to specify the severity publicly, saying only, "It's an ankle, so we'll keep it at that." The team is hopeful Love will be ready for the regular-season opener at the Los Angeles Chargers.
