Path to the league
Prentice began his college career as a walk-on fullback at Colorado State, earning a scholarship and starting for three seasons before transferring to South Carolina as a graduate transfer in 2020, where he was named offensive player of the game in a win over Auburn. He signed with the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent in May 2021.
