Brandon Jones built his reputation as a physical, versatile safety over four seasons in Miami before signing with the Broncos in 2024, where he immediately led the team in tackles. The Texas alum has continued that form into 2025, even after a pectoral injury cut his season short.

Path to the league

Jones started three seasons at Texas, finishing his college career with 198 tackles as a starter, including 86 tackles and two interceptions as a senior. The Miami Dolphins selected him in the third round (70th overall) of the 2020 NFL Draft.

Career highlights

Jones spent his first four NFL seasons in Miami, appearing in 53 games with 29 starts and recording 226 tackles and four interceptions. He signed a three-year deal with the Broncos in March 2024 and led Denver with a career-high 115 tackles and three interceptions in his first season with the team.

2025 season recap

Jones finished the 2025 regular season with 78 tackles, 12 passes defensed and an interception across 14 games before a pectoral injury in Week 15 required surgery and landed him on injured reserve, sidelining him for Denver's two playoff games.
