Brock Wright went undrafted out of Notre Dame in 2021 and signed with the Lions. He has stuck in Detroit as a blocking tight end and occasional red-zone target. He remained part of the rotation behind the Lions' top tight ends in 2025.
Path to the league
Wright played four seasons at Notre Dame from 2017 to 2020, finishing with seven receptions for 78 yards and one touchdown in a blocking-heavy role. He went undrafted in 2021 and signed with Detroit. He earned a long-term role as the Lions' blocking tight end.
