K.J. Britt has never been a headline name, but he has carved out a steady niche as a physical, high-effort linebacker who contributes across all four phases of special teams. Now with his third team in six seasons, he brings a throwback, blue-collar approach to whatever roster he lands on.
Path to the league
Britt played four seasons at Auburn, appearing in 42 games and recording 119 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks and a forced fumble across his college career. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers selected him in the fifth round, 176th overall, in the 2021 NFL Draft.
