Mike Caliendo has quietly built a career with the Chiefs after going undrafted out of Western Michigan, working his way from the practice squad to a reliable interior line reserve. A Super Bowl champion, he re-signed with Kansas City in March 2026 to continue in that role.
Path to the league
Caliendo spent six years at Western Michigan, four of them as a full-time starter. He went unselected in the NFL Draft and joined the Kansas City Chiefs' practice squad in 2022.
