Omarr Norman-Lott entered the league as a second-round pick out of Tennessee with a reputation as one of the best pass-rushing interior linemen in the 2025 draft class. Path to the league

Norman-Lott began his college career at Arizona State from 2020 to 2022 before transferring to Tennessee for his final two seasons. In 2024, he led all FBS interior defensive linemen in pass-rush win rate at 12.6 percent, racking up 27 pressures on just 139 pass-rush snaps. The Chiefs selected him with the 63rd overall pick in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft.

Career highlights

Norman-Lott's standout trait coming out of college was his pass-rush production relative to his snap count, finishing second on Tennessee's roster in total pressures despite ranking just 20th in defensive snaps. At the NFL Combine, his 10 3/4-inch hands measured as the largest of any defensive lineman in attendance, a physical trait scouts pointed to as part of his disruptive get-off.

2025 season recap

Norman-Lott made an immediate impact as a rookie, recording his first NFL sack in Week 2 against the Philadelphia Eagles when he brought down Jalen Hurts for a loss. He appeared in five games with one start, totaling five tackles and a sack before tearing his ACL in Kansas City's Week 7 win over the Raiders, an injury that ended his season.
