Tyler Davis put together one of the most decorated careers in Clemson history before the Rams took him in the sixth round of the 2024 draft. He has since developed into a dependable rotational piece on Los Angeles' defensive line, taking a clear step forward in his second NFL season.

Path to the league

Davis played five seasons at Clemson from 2019 to 2023 and became the program's first defensive player to earn four-time All-ACC honors, including three straight first-team selections from 2021 to 2023. He finished his college career with 144 tackles, 29.5 for loss, and 16 sacks in 56 games. The Rams drafted him in the sixth round (196th overall) of the 2024 NFL Draft.

2025 season recap

Davis took a step forward in his second NFL season, emerging as a regular rotational player on early downs. He recorded 1.0 sack on the year, highlighted by a sack of Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud in Week 1, along with 28 solo tackles and 17 total quarterback pressures.
