Bears Sign D'Andre Swift to Three-Year, $33.75 Million Extension

The Chicago Bears and running back D'Andre Swift agreed to a three-year, $33.75 million extension with $27.5 million guaranteed, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported, keeping Swift under contract through the 2029 season.
What is Chicago paying for?
Swift ran for 1,087 yards and nine touchdowns last season and caught 34 passes for 299 yards and a score, starting 34 of 35 games over the past two years. "I think he's primed for a big year," coach Ben Johnson said in late August, and general manager Ryan Poles added, "I love Swifty. I love the way that he's working." Swift called this "one of my better camps as far as stacking days, being consistent."
