Chiefs Drop GEHA Field Name, Return to Simply Arrowhead Stadium
The mutual decision with naming-rights partner GEHA takes effect with the 2026 season, ending a branding deal that never really caught on with fans anyway.
The home of the Kansas City Chiefs will once again be known simply as Arrowhead Stadium, with the team and naming-rights partner GEHA announcing a mutual decision to drop the "GEHA Field" branding beginning with the 2026 season.
How long did the GEHA deal last?
The Government Employees Health Association's naming-rights agreement began in 2021. Both sides describe the end of the deal as amicable rather than the product of any dispute.

"Together with the Chiefs, we made the decision to return the stadium to its iconic Arrowhead identity, honoring the legacy, tradition, and community pride it represents," said GEHA's Raj Vavilala, the company's executive vice president of growth and strategy. Chiefs president Mark Donovan added, "G.E.H.A is a tremendous partner and this mutual decision reflects a shared commitment to honoring the rich history of Arrowhead Stadium and the Chiefs organization."
Is a new naming-rights deal coming?
None has been announced, and the stadium will simply be called Arrowhead Stadium for now. GEHA remains a Chiefs partner in other capacities, including the team's military appreciation programs. The current Arrowhead lease runs through 2031, after which the Chiefs are slated to move into a new $3 billion domed stadium in Kansas.
