Seattle Seahawks defensive tackle Leonard Williams signed a three-year, $90 million extension that includes $56 million guaranteed, keeping the three-time Pro Bowler under contract through the 2029 season.
What did Williams say about the deal?
Williams noted this is the first time in his career he's been extended while already under contract with a team, calling it a reflection of "what type of organization we have here and how much respect and love and appreciation that I have here." He credited Seattle for a career and personal resurgence, saying he's been "more grounded, more locked in with the team," which has "made me a better person on the field and off the field."
