Austin Schlottmann has never been a marquee name, but he has stuck in the league for the better part of a decade by being ready whenever an offensive line needed a center. After stops in Denver, Minnesota and New York, he signed on with Tennessee to compete for the starting center job.
Path to the league
Schlottmann played his college football at TCU before going unselected in the 2018 NFL Draft. He signed with the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent and spent his first four professional seasons there.
Career highlights
After four years in Denver, Schlottmann spent two seasons with the Minnesota Vikings before joining the New York Giants in 2024. Across seven NFL seasons he has appeared in 85 games, developing a reputation as a versatile depth option who can play center or guard.
