Bralen Trice arrived in the NFL with a reputation as one of the most disruptive edge defenders in the Pac-12, but he has yet to appear in a regular-season snap for the Falcons. A torn ACL in his first preseason game and a subsequent setback with the same knee have kept the talented linebacker on the sideline through two pro seasons.
Path to the league
Trice redshirted his first year at Washington and missed the 2020 season, then developed into a full-time starter by 2022. The Falcons drafted him in the third round (No. 74 overall) of the 2024 NFL Draft, signing him to a four-year rookie contract.
Career highlights
Trice earned back-to-back first-team All-Pac-12 honors in 2022 and 2023 and was named defensive MVP of the 2022 Alamo Bowl. Across his Washington career he racked up 18 sacks and more than 100 tackles, establishing himself as a premier pass-rush prospect heading into the draft.
