Colby Wooden made his name as a disruptive edge rusher at Auburn before the Packers moved him inside to defensive tackle as a pro. After three seasons of steady development in Green Bay, he arrives in Indianapolis via trade, bringing durability and physicality to the interior.

Path to the league

Wooden played four seasons at Auburn, appearing in 40 games with 36 starts and compiling 152 tackles, 30 tackles for loss, 15 sacks, six passes defensed and three forced fumbles. The Green Bay Packers selected him in the fourth round (No. 116 overall) of the 2023 NFL Draft.

Career highlights

Wooden developed into a durable, every-down defensive lineman for Green Bay, starting 16 games in 2025 after working his way up from a rotational role as a rookie. He was traded to the Colts on March 11, 2026, in exchange for linebacker Zaire Franklin.
