Former Clemson first-rounder coming off a career-best 2025 as a Saints starting defensive tackle.
Bryan Bresee is a New Orleans defensive tackle and 2023 first-round pick out of Clemson. He started all 15 games he played in 2025 and posted career highs across the board before a late knee injury. He turned 24 during a season that established him as a fixture inside.
Path to the league
Bresee played college football at Clemson and was selected by the Saints in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft. He stepped into New Orleans' defensive tackle rotation early in his career.
2025 season
Bresee started every game he appeared in and set career highs with 37 tackles, 2.5 sacks, five tackles for loss, three pass breakups, one forced fumble, and a blocked field goal while playing 69 percent of the defensive snaps. In Week 5 against the Giants, he forced a fumble on Cam Skattebo that Jordan Howden returned 86 yards for a touchdown in a 26-14 win. A knee injury cost him the final two weeks of the season.
