Denver's lead receiver and a back-to-back 1,000-yard producer who anchored the Broncos passing game in 2025.
Courtland Sutton has been the constant in a Denver receiving room that has churned through quarterbacks and play-callers since 2018. The SMU product cleared 1,000 yards again in 2025, his second straight, while serving as the No. 1 option for the Broncos. At 6-4 he remains the team's go-to target in the red zone and on contested throws down the field.
Path to the league
Sutton starred at SMU, where he posted a strong final season and earned All-American Athletic Conference honors. Denver took him 40th overall in the second round of the 2018 draft. He paired with Emmanuel Sanders early before becoming the clear top option, and he made the Pro Bowl in 2019 after a 1,112-yard season.
Career highlights
Pro Bowl selection in 2019. Bounced back from a 2020 ACL tear to reestablish himself as Denver's leading receiver. Posted a career-high 10 touchdown catches in 2024. Cleared 1,000 receiving yards in both 2024 and 2025, the latter coming with quarterback Bo Nix.
2025 season
Sutton finished the regular season with 74 catches for 1,017 yards and seven touchdowns across 17 games, per ESPN. It marked his second consecutive 1,000-yard campaign and reinforced his standing as Denver's primary receiving threat alongside Nix.
