Darius Muasau is a linebacker for the New York Giants who has developed into one of the team's most reliable tacklers since arriving as a sixth-round pick in 2024. A transfer from Hawaii, he brought a physical, sideline-to-sideline style that quickly won him a starting job.
Path to the league
Muasau began his college career at Hawaii, where he was a two-time first-team All-Mountain West selection, before transferring to UCLA. He led the Bruins in tackles in each of his final two seasons, earning second-team All-Pac-12 honors in 2023 and Defensive MVP of the LA Bowl after an 11-tackle performance. The Giants drafted him in the sixth round, 183rd overall, in the 2024 NFL Draft.

2025 season recap
Muasau took over as a full-time starter in 2025 after Micah McFadden went down with a foot injury in Week 1. He started 11 of the 12 games he played, finishing with 51 tackles, including 24 solo stops, one sack and a pass defensed, despite missing time himself with a concussion and an ankle injury that sent him to injured reserve.
