DeForest Buckner came to the Colts in 2020 trade and signed a four-year, $84 million extension on the way in. The 2025 season produced another Pro Bowl nod (his fourth) and 8 sacks from the interior. Buckner remains the heart of Indianapolis' defense at age 32.
Path to the league
Oregon product taken seventh overall by the 49ers in 2016. Made the Pro Bowl in 2018 with 12 sacks. Traded to Indianapolis in March 2020 for a first-round pick after San Francisco's salary cap dictated the move.
