Path to the league
A Tallahassee, Florida native who starred at Chiles High School, Greene chose West Virginia over offers from Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, Ole Miss and TCU. He started at quarterback for the Mountaineers in 2023 and 2024, finishing his college career with 5,370 passing yards, 36 passing touchdowns and 2,128 rushing yards, before announcing he would enter the 2025 NFL Draft as a wide receiver instead.

2025 season recap

He did not appear in a regular-season game as a rookie, and the Buccaneers signed him to a reserve/futures contract in January 2026, moving him to wide receiver full time.
