A former walk-on receiver at UCLA who broke out as a rookie tight end in Denver before injuries derailed his early promise.

Greg Dulcich looked like one of the steals of the 2022 draft class after a scorching rookie debut in Denver, but hamstring and durability issues have since scattered his career across three organizations. He now looks to rebuild his role in Miami after a lost 2025 season.

Path to the league

Dulcich started his UCLA career as a walk-on receiver before emerging as a tight end, earning All-Pac-12 second-team honors in 2020 and first-team honors in 2021 after a 725-yard, five-touchdown season. The Broncos drafted him in the third round, No. 80 overall, in 2022, making him the highest-drafted UCLA tight end since Marcedes Lewis in 2006.

Career highlights

Dulcich announced himself immediately, scoring a 39-yard touchdown in his NFL debut against the Chargers and finishing his rookie season with 33 catches for 411 yards over 10 games. Hamstring injuries limited him to just two games in 2023, and continued durability and consistency issues, including dropped passes and missed blocks, led to his release by Denver before the 2024 trade deadline.

2025 season recap

Dulcich signed with the Giants but was waived in final roster cuts on August 26, 2025, and did not appear in a regular-season game for New York that year. He signed with the Miami Dolphins in the 2026 offseason, looking to resurrect the promise he flashed as a rookie.
