Jahfari Harvey is a defensive end for the Las Vegas Raiders who built a productive five-year college career, most of it at Miami before a final push at SMU, on his way to an undrafted NFL path. Path to the league
Harvey was a four-star recruit out of Vero Beach High School in Florida who spent five seasons at the University of Miami from 2019 to 2023 before transferring to SMU for his final year in 2024. He went undrafted in the 2025 NFL Draft and signed with the Las Vegas Raiders.
Career highlights
Harvey's best college season came in his lone year at SMU in 2024, when he posted 31 tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss, and 7.5 sacks. Across his full college career at Miami and SMU, he totaled 130 tackles, 22 tackles for loss, and 18 sacks over 64 games.
2025 season recap
Harvey was waived by the Raiders during final roster cuts in August 2025 but immediately re-signed to the practice squad. He was elevated to the active roster twice during the season, in mid- and late December, finishing his rookie year with one tackle and one pass deflection across two games played.
