Jayson Jones is a 6-foot-6, 335-pound run-stuffer who began his college career at Oregon before transferring to Auburn, where he settled into a rotational nose tackle role. He went undrafted in 2025 and landed with the Buccaneers after a brief stop in Baltimore.

Jones started his college career at Oregon in 2021, recording 19 tackles and two sacks in 13 games as a freshman, before transferring to Auburn.
