JC Latham is a starting offensive tackle for Tennessee who arrived as the club's first-round centerpiece up front in 2024. The former Alabama standout and five-star recruit has battled through injuries in his young career but remains one of the Titans' foundational building blocks on the offensive line.
Path to the league
A five-star recruit out of IMG Academy in Florida in the 2021 class, Latham started at right tackle for Alabama's final two seasons, earning first-team All-SEC and second-team All-America honors as a junior. The Titans selected him with the No. 7 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, the first Alabama player taken that year and the second offensive tackle off the board behind Notre Dame's Joe Alt.
Career highlights
Latham arrived in Tennessee at 342 pounds, among the heaviest offensive linemen at that year's combine, and worked to trim down for a return to right tackle after early experimentation elsewhere on the line. He has been a starter for the Titans since his rookie season in 2024.
2025 season recap
Latham dropped roughly 33 pounds in the offseason to transition back to right tackle for 2025, but a hip injury suffered in training camp and aggravated in the Week 1 loss at Denver limited him for much of the season, sidelining him for several games. He was penalized 14 times on the year and continued to work back into the lineup as the Titans' regular right tackle when healthy.
