Jeremiah Wright's college career took a winding route, from a three-star defensive line recruit out of Selma, Alabama, to a torn ACL that cost him a season, to a full-time switch to offensive guard. Path to the league
Wright arrived at Auburn as a three-star defensive line recruit from Selma High School, choosing the Tigers over offers from Georgia Tech and Memphis. He played defensive line as a freshman in 2020, then missed the entire 2021 season with a torn ACL suffered in spring practice. Auburn moved him to offensive guard in 2022, and he worked his way from a backup role into a full-time starter.
