Jerome Carvin built himself into a four-year starter on the interior line at Tennessee and has spent his pro career fighting for snaps across the league. Now with the Jacksonville Jaguars, the versatile guard/center is still looking to lock down a long-term role in the trenches.
Path to the league
A four-star recruit out of Cordova High School in Memphis, Carvin enrolled at Tennessee in 2018 and developed from a reserve into a full-time starter, holding down the starting left guard spot in all 13 games during his final 2022 season. He went undrafted in the 2023 NFL Draft.
Career highlights
Since going undrafted, Carvin has earned looks from the Kansas City Chiefs, Chicago Bears and New England Patriots, showing enough versatility at guard and center to keep landing on rosters and practice squads around the league.
