J.K. Dobbins is a Denver Broncos running back who ran for a team-high 772 yards before a season-ending injury in 2025.
Dobbins starred at Ohio State before the Ravens drafted him in 2020, then fought through a string of injuries early in his career. He signed in Denver in 2025 on a one-year deal and quickly took over the backfield. A Lisfranc foot injury cut his strong season short.
Path to the league
Dobbins was a standout for the Ohio State Buckeyes before the Baltimore Ravens selected him in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Injuries, including a torn ACL, derailed his early years in Baltimore. He later played for the Chargers before signing with Denver in 2025.
2025 season
Dobbins won the Broncos' starting job and was productive before a Lisfranc foot injury in a Week 10 win over the Raiders ended his year. Across 10 games he carried 153 times for a team-high 772 yards and four touchdowns, averaging 5.0 yards per carry, according to Pro Football Rumors. He signed a two-year extension with Denver in March 2026.
