JK Scott arrived in the NFL as a fifth-round pick out of Alabama, where he won two national championships and set the program's career punting records. Now with the Chargers after stints in Green Bay and Jacksonville, he remains one of the league's more dependable directional punters.
Path to the league
Scott was a four-year starter at Alabama from 2014-17, helping the Crimson Tide to national championships in the 2015 and 2017 seasons. He set Alabama's career records for punting yards (11,074) and attempts (243), posted a 45.6 career average, and was a two-time Ray Guy Award finalist and First Team All-American. Green Bay drafted him in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
