Josh Downs arrived in the NFL as one of the most decorated receivers in North Carolina history and has translated that production into a steady role with the Colts. The shifty slot weapon continues to be a reliable chain-mover in Indianapolis's offense.

Path to the league

Downs was a two-time first-team All-ACC selection at North Carolina, catching 101 passes for 1,335 yards and eight touchdowns in 2021 before finishing his college career with 202 receptions, 2,483 yards and 22 touchdowns over three seasons. He was also a Pro Football Focus First Team All-America selection. The Colts drafted him in the third round, 79th overall, of the 2023 NFL Draft.

2025 season recap
