Josh Hines-Allen is the Jacksonville Jaguars' franchise sack leader, a Pro Bowl edge rusher out of Kentucky.
Josh Hines-Allen has been the cornerstone of Jacksonville's pass rush since arriving as a top-10 pick out of Kentucky. He has stacked productive seasons and climbed the franchise's all-time sack list. In 2025 he passed Tony Brackens to become the Jaguars' career sacks leader.
Path to the league
Hines-Allen starred at Kentucky, where he was a consensus All-American and won the Bronko Nagurski and Chuck Bednarik awards as one of the nation's top defenders in 2018. The Jaguars selected him seventh overall in the 2019 NFL Draft. He has anchored the edge in Jacksonville ever since.
2025 season
Hines-Allen played all 17 regular-season games in 2025, recording 8.0 sacks among 49 tackles with three passes defensed. During the season he registered his 56th career sack to break Tony Brackens' franchise record, surpassing the mark with a takedown of Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert. The total matched his 2024 regular-season output.
