Keion White is a defensive lineman for the San Francisco 49ers who arrived via an October 2025 trade from New England. A 2023 second-round pick out of Georgia Tech, he fell out of favor in the Patriots' scheme before San Francisco bet on his potential. He joins a 49ers front in need of pass-rush help.
Path to the league
White played college football at Georgia Tech and was drafted by the Patriots in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft. He acknowledged he was not a clean fit for the defensive scheme Mike Vrabel installed in New England, which contributed to his diminished role.
2025 season
After a healthy scratch and time buried behind Harold Landry and K'Lavon Chaisson, White was traded on October 29, 2025, with a conditional 2026 seventh-round pick to the 49ers for a 2026 sixth-rounder, per the Boston Globe.
