Path to the league
Jackson played his true freshman season at LSU in 2021 before transferring to Arkansas, where he started from 2022 through 2024. He earned Coaches' First-Team All-SEC honors in 2023 after recording 44 tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks, then followed with a Second-Team All-SEC senior season in 2024. The Buffalo Bills drafted him in the third round, 72nd overall, of the 2025 NFL Draft, making him the first Arkansas defensive player drafted since 2023.
Career highlights
Across his time at LSU and Arkansas, Jackson totaled 16 sacks and 26.5 tackles for loss. At the NFL Combine, his 40.5-inch vertical jump ranked first among all defensive ends in attendance, underscoring the explosive traits that made him a Day 2 draft target.
