A former All-SEC guard at Texas A&M, Layden Robinson has bounced through three organizations in two years and now looks to lock down a role on Atlanta's line.
Robinson was a fourth-round pick who started right away for the Patriots, but a crowded depth chart and roster churn sent him from New England to Las Vegas before he landed with the Falcons. He brings SEC-tested experience at guard and versatility across the interior line.
Path to the league
Robinson redshirted his true freshman year at Texas A&M before working his way into the starting lineup, ultimately making 33 career starts for the Aggies. The New England Patriots selected him in the fourth round, 103rd overall, in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Career highlights
Robinson started every game at right guard for Texas A&M in both 2022 and 2023, earning second-team All-SEC recognition as a senior. As a rookie with New England in 2024, he appeared in 13 games with 11 starts at both guard spots.
2025 season recap
Robinson was waived by the Patriots in August 2025 and signed to the Las Vegas Raiders' practice squad that October, but he did not appear in a regular-season game for Las Vegas. The Falcons signed him after a rookie minicamp tryout in May 2026, giving him a fresh chance to compete for snaps at guard.
