An Army offensive lineman who reinvented himself as a fullback prospect on Todd Monken's urging and signed with the Ravens.
Lucas Scott spent his college career blocking on Army's offensive line, sharing in a Joe Moore Award as part of the Black Knights' unit, before Ravens offensive coordinator Todd Monken pushed him to try fullback ahead of the draft. Scott called it his "dream position" and signed with Baltimore as an undrafted free agent.
Path to the league
A Chenango Forks High School standout in Binghamton, New York, Scott played right guard and then right tackle at Army from 2021 to 2024. He went undrafted in 2025 and signed a three-year deal with the Ravens worth just under $3 million.
Career highlights
Scott earned second-team All-AAC honors as a senior tackle in 2024 and shared in Army's Joe Moore Award, given annually to college football's top offensive line unit. His move to fullback was inspired in part by watching Ravens All-Pro Patrick Ricard.
2025 season recap
Scott was waived in Baltimore's August 2025 roster cuts but was immediately added to the practice squad. He signed a reserve/future contract with the Ravens in January 2026 without appearing in a regular-season game as a rookie.
