Path to the league
Wilson played cornerback for the Florida Gators, where a late-game cleat-throwing incident against LSU became one of the most memorable moments of his college career. The Arizona Cardinals traded up to select him in the fourth round (No. 136 overall) of the 2021 NFL Draft.
Career highlights
Wilson spent nearly three seasons with the Cardinals before being waived in December 2023. He has since played for the New England Patriots and Cincinnati Bengals, developing a reputation as a physical, versatile corner willing to play both outside and in the slot.
