A five-time Pro Bowler and Super Bowl champion, Morgan Cox is the most decorated long snapper of his generation.
Morgan Cox built his reputation over 11 seasons in Baltimore before returning home to Tennessee, where the Volunteers legend has continued to anchor the Titans' special teams unit. Few players at his position have combined his longevity with his hardware.
Path to the league
Cox walked on at the University of Tennessee and earned a scholarship before the 2008 season, starting at long snapper for the Volunteers from 2007 to 2009 and picking up Academic All-SEC honors along the way. He went undrafted in 2010 and signed with the Baltimore Ravens.
Career highlights
Cox spent 11 seasons with the Ravens, winning Super Bowl XLVII following the 2012 season. He has been named to five Pro Bowls (2015, 2016, 2019, 2020, 2022), more than any other long snapper since the league began recognizing the position, and he was a First-team All-Pro in 2020. He became just the 64th player in NFL history to appear in 250 career games.
2025 season recap
Now in his sixteenth pro season and fifth with the Titans, Cox continued his run as one of the league's steadiest specialists, and Tennessee brought him back on a new one-year deal to keep the veteran in Nashville.
