Path to the league
Moore spent four seasons in the Boston Red Sox minor league system after being drafted in 2011, playing first and third base for the Lowell Spinners, before turning to football at the University of Georgia. He initially played linebacker and fullback for the Bulldogs before switching to long snapper in 2017, appearing in 23 games including 14 as a senior in 2018. He went undrafted in 2019, signed with the New Orleans Saints, had a brief stint with the XFL's Tampa Bay Vipers, and joined the Ravens in March 2020.

Moore worked his way into Baltimore's starting long-snapper role after the 2020 season, replacing longtime incumbent Morgan Cox. He earned Second-Team All-Pro honors in 2022, a rare accolade for a long snapper, and battled back from a torn Achilles suffered in the 2023 offseason to reclaim his starting job in 2024.
