Parker Robertson's college story reads like a Rudy script: a walk-on who didn't play a snap early on but earned a team captaincy anyway before becoming Oklahoma State's leading tackler as a senior. Undrafted in 2026, he chose the Broncos over other offers and now looks to carve out a role on special teams and at safety.

Path to the league

Robertson joined Oklahoma State as a walk-on safety in 2021 and redshirted his freshman year, then spent his early seasons largely on special teams before working into the defensive rotation. He went undrafted in the 2026 NFL Draft and signed with the Denver Broncos as a free agent, turning down other offers to join the Broncos.

Career highlights

Despite not playing a snap in his first year on campus, Robertson was voted a team captain by his Oklahoma State teammates, a reflection of his leadership. He progressed from a special-teams-only role in 2022 to a full-time starter by 2024, when he posted 49 tackles and two interceptions.

2025 season recap

In his senior season, Robertson was Oklahoma State's leading tackler with around 70 tackles, including tackles for loss, to go with two interceptions and multiple pass breakups. The breakout year, capped by a captain's role for the second straight season, helped him land with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent.
