Oregon tackle who opted out of the 2020 college season. Lions took him seventh overall in 2021. Started 17 games as a rookie at right tackle and never came out of the lineup.

2025 season recap
Made his fourth straight Pro Bowl. Detroit went 14-3 and the offensive line allowed 24 sacks. Sewell didn't give up a single sack in 17 games. The Lions' NFC Championship loss to the Rams was not on him.
