Quinn Meinerz has one of the more unlikely rises in the league, going from Wisconsin-Whitewater to the highest levels of NFL offensive line play. Now signed to a major extension, he is the engine of Denver's front five and one of the game's best interior blockers.
Path to the league
Meinerz starred at UW-Whitewater from 2017 to 2019, earning first-team All-WIAC honors and a first-team Division III All-American nod from the Associated Press as a senior. The Denver Broncos drafted him in the third round, 98th overall, in 2021, making him the highest-drafted player in Whitewater history.
Career highlights
Meinerz developed into one of the NFL's top interior linemen, earning first-team All-Pro honors at right guard in 2024 and again in 2025. He signed a four-year, $80 million extension with Denver in July 2024 and has been a finalist for the league's inaugural Protector of the Year Award.
2025 season recap
Meinerz was Denver's starting right guard throughout 2025, earning his first Pro Bowl selection as a starter while also collecting his second consecutive first-team All-Pro nod. He entered the 2026 offseason with 79 career games and 73 starts under his belt.
