Path to the league

Walker started 32 games across three seasons at Penn State, earning two-time All-Big Ten recognition before an injury cut short his final college campaign. The Packers took a flier on him with the 249th overall pick in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL Draft.

Career highlights

Walker spent his rookie year backing up All-Pro left tackle David Bakhtiari, then stepped into the starting role in 2023 when Bakhtiari was injured and never relinquished it. Over the following seasons he appeared in 49 of 51 regular-season games for Green Bay, starting 48 of them, including a stretch of 42 consecutive starts.

Walker closed out the 2025 season as Green Bay's entrenched starting left tackle, continuing the streak of consistent play that made him one of the more sought-after tackles in free agency. That performance led directly to a new deal with Carolina that can be worth up to $10 million with incentives.
