SirVocea Dennis waited three years for his opportunity in Tampa Bay, and when it finally came in 2025 he made the most of it. After being limited by injuries and inconsistent play through his first two seasons, the Pittsburgh product stepped into a full-time role and produced career numbers across the board.

Path to the league

Dennis was a first-team All-ACC linebacker at Pittsburgh in 2022, recording 94 tackles, 12.0 tackles for loss and 7.0 sacks while earning Butkus Award semifinalist recognition. The Buccaneers drafted him in the fifth round, 153rd overall, of the 2023 NFL Draft.

Career highlights

Dennis played under 100 total snaps combined across his first two NFL seasons, limited by injury issues including a stretch that held him to just four games in 2024. He finally earned significant playing time in 2025, when he logged 909 defensive snaps.

2025 season recap

Dennis broke out in his fourth season, starting regularly and finishing with a career-high 101 tackles, 3.0 sacks and five passes defensed, including an interception against Buffalo in Week 11. He heads into the final year of his rookie contract in 2026 after the breakout campaign.
