A first-round road-grader out of Oregon State who has started every game he's played since the Saints took him 14th overall.
Taliese Fuaga arrived in New Orleans as one of the most physical run-blocking tackles in his draft class, and he has held down a starting job on the Saints' offensive line from day one. The Tacoma, Washington native's combination of size and aggression made him a first-round priority for New Orleans in 2024.
Path to the league
Fuaga developed into a dominant force at Oregon State, starting every game in 2022 and 2023 after working his way up from a backup role. His senior season earned him first-team All-American and first-team All-Pac-12 honors, and the Saints selected him with the 14th overall pick of the 2024 NFL Draft.
Career highlights
Fuaga was thrown straight into the starting lineup as a rookie, starting all 17 games and playing 98 percent of New Orleans' offensive snaps at right tackle. His blend of power and mobility made him an immediate fixture up front, a rare feat for a rookie tackle.
2025 season recap
Fuaga continued as a full-time starter in 2025, appearing in and starting 13 games while playing 96 percent of the offense's snaps. He kept his penalty numbers down compared to his rookie year, a sign of continued technical growth in his second NFL season.
