Path to the league

Wharton set career school records at Missouri S&T with 35.5 sacks and 58 tackles for loss, earning honorable mention All-America honors in 2018. He went undrafted in 2020 but signed with the Kansas City Chiefs and made their 53-man roster as a rookie.
