Tyler Ott has spent more than a decade as one of the league's steadiest long snappers after going undrafted out of Harvard in 2014. He has worn seven different uniforms in that span, a testament to how reliably teams have turned to him to fill the specialist role.
Path to the league
Ott served as Harvard's primary long snapper for four seasons (2010-2014) and even caught passes as a senior tight end, finishing with 15 career receptions for 188 yards and four touchdowns. He signed with the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent in 2014.

Ott has played for the Patriots, Rams, Giants, Bengals, Seahawks, Ravens and Commanders over his career. His best individual recognition came after the 2020 season with Seattle, when he was named the NFC's long snapper for the Pro Bowl. He has appeared in 135 career games.
2025 season recap
