Winston Reid's path to the NFL ran through Ogden, Utah, where he began as a walk-on at Weber State and left as a two-time FCS All-American. He signed with the Browns as an undrafted free agent in 2024 and has stuck around as a special-teams contributor and depth linebacker ever since.

Reid began as a walk-on at Weber State and developed into one of the Big Sky Conference's top linebackers over a seven-year college career from 2017 to 2023. He went undrafted in the 2024 NFL Draft and signed with the Cleveland Browns as a free agent shortly afterward.

Reid signed his exclusive rights free agent tender with the Browns in April 2025 and returned as a depth linebacker and special-teams piece. He built on a 2024 rookie season in which he posted 23 tackles, half a sack, a fumble recovery and two pass breakups across 16 games.
