Cardinals to Retire Larry Fitzgerald's No. 11, Induct Him Into Ring of Honor

The ceremony is set for the Week 7 home game against the Broncos, two months after Fitzgerald's Pro Football Hall of Fame enshrinement.

The Arizona Cardinals will retire Larry Fitzgerald's No. 11 and induct him into the team's Ring of Honor on Oct. 25, 2026, during the Week 7 home game against the Denver Broncos at State Farm Stadium, two days after his Pro Football Hall of Fame enshrinement.

How rare is this honor for Arizona?

Fitzgerald becomes just the sixth player in franchise history to have his number retired, joining Larry Wilson (8), Pat Tillman (40), Stan Mauldin (77), J.V. Cain (88) and Marshall Goldberg (99).

What does his Cardinals career look like?

Fitzgerald spent all 17 of his NFL seasons with Arizona, the only team he ever played for. He ranks second all-time in NFL history in both receptions and receiving yards.

How does this connect to his Hall of Fame induction?

Fitzgerald was enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Aug. 8, 2026, as part of a class that also included Drew Brees, Luke Kuechly, Adam Vinatieri and Roger Craig. The Cardinals' ceremony gives the franchise its own dedicated moment to honor him less than three months later.
