Malik Nabers Returns to Giants Practice for First Time Since Knee Surgery

The star receiver wasn't yet in full offensive drills, but his return to the field marks a real step forward after multiple procedures on his knee.

New York Giants receiver Malik Nabers returned to team practice for the first time since his serious knee injury required multiple surgeries, though he was not yet participating in full offensive drills.

How significant is this step?

Simply being back on the practice field is a meaningful marker after an injury that required more than one procedure. It doesn't mean Nabers is ready for game reps, but it puts him on a visible track toward a return.

Who's carrying the receiver room in the meantime?

Veteran Odell Beckham Jr. has been making a case for a roster spot with highlight plays in camp, including a leaping touchdown grab from Jameis Winston, while Braxton Berrios has also stood out in a crowded group. Both give the Giants options while Nabers continues to ramp up.

What's next for Nabers?

The team hasn't put a firm timetable on when he'll return to full team drills. His continued presence at practice, even in a limited role, is the clearest sign yet that a return this season remains realistic.
