Jordan Love and Ronika Stone welcome their first child, daughter Rayna Capri Love

The Packers QB and his volleyball-pro wife shared the news on Instagram a week after his fractured hand healed.

Jordan Love and Ronika Stone announced the birth of their first child on Saturday. The Packers quarterback and his wife posted photos to Instagram of their newborn daughter, Rayna Capri Love, including one of Stone in the hospital bed and Love holding their daughter in her room. The pregnancy had been public since the couple's New Year's Day announcement.

Who is Ronika Stone?

A professional volleyball player. Stone played at the University of Oregon and has spent the past three seasons with the San Diego Mojo of the Pro Volleyball Federation. She and Love met during his rookie season in 2021 and married in 2025, less than 18 months before the baby announcement.

How did the announcement come together?

The couple revealed the pregnancy on New Year's Day with an Instagram post showing a sonogram and a onesie that read 'Baby Love, spring 2026.' The birth announcement on Saturday included the daughter's name, Rayna Capri Love. Love wrote a brief caption thanking medical staff and the Packers organization for accommodations during OTAs.

Where does this leave Love's offseason schedule?

The Packers had already given Love modified OTA availability while his right hand finished healing from the late-2025 fracture. The team announced he would miss this week's practices to be with his family. He's expected back at the facility next week for the final OTA session before mandatory minicamp opens June 9.

What did teammates say?

Center Josh Myers posted congratulations on Instagram. Receiver Romeo Doubs and tight end Tucker Kraft both commented on the post. Head coach Matt LaFleur, asked about Love's absence Saturday afternoon, said only, 'Family always comes first. Jordan's where he should be.' Quarterback Tyrod Taylor handled the first-team reps Saturday in Love's absence.

Does this affect 2026 outlook?

Not in any football sense. Love is signed through 2028 on his $220 million extension and is the Packers' clear long-term QB. The pregnancy was announced after the team's 2025 Wild Card loss, so the timing was deliberate to land in the offseason window. Mandatory minicamp begins June 9, training camp opens July 22, and Love will be fully available for both.
