The New Orleans Saints are signing linebacker Deion Jones to a one-year deal, adding a veteran with over a decade of NFL experience to the position group. Financial terms weren't disclosed.
What's his career history?
Jones, a New Orleans native and LSU product, was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in 2016 and spent six seasons there, making a Pro Bowl in 2017 and later signing a four-year, $57 million extension. He moved to Tampa Bay for the 2024 and 2025 seasons, recording 29 tackles in 17 games last year.
