Tyreek Hill Posts Workout Video, Says He Still Has 'No Power' in His Leg

Roughly 10 months after two surgeries to repair a dislocated knee and multiple torn ligaments, the free agent receiver says his timeline is 'looking real good' even as he works to regain strength.

Tyreek Hill posted a workout video Wednesday night discussing his ongoing recovery from a dislocated knee and multiple torn ligaments, saying he still has "no power" in his left leg. "I have no power in my left leg, so I'm trying to regain all the power back in my left leg," Hill said in the video, which showed him running and working through a variety of exercises roughly 10 months after undergoing two surgeries.

What was the original injury?

Hill dislocated his knee and tore multiple ligaments, including his ACL, in a Sept. 29 game last season against the New York Jets. He has said doctors told him at the time that he might not be able to walk again, underscoring how severe the injury was. He underwent two surgeries in the aftermath and has spent the better part of a year working through rehab.

Where does his recovery stand now?

In the new video, Hill is shown running and performing a range of exercises, evidence of real progress even as he acknowledges the leg still lacks strength. He was careful not to attach a firm date to a possible return. "I ain't going to tell you what my timeline is, but timeline looking real good right now, man," he said, striking an optimistic tone about where his rehab is trending without committing to specifics.

What's his NFL status?

Hill is currently a free agent as he continues his rehab, meaning any return to the field would come with a new team rather than a reunion tied to a single roster. The workout video serves as his most detailed public update yet on where that recovery stands, and it will be watched closely as teams weigh his availability heading toward the season.
